Why is DR necessary?

It is a socially beneficial business that efficiently manages national power demand to promote 'power supply stabilization', induces rational 'energy consumption' of electricity consumers, avoids the construction of new power plants, preserves the environment through reduction of fine dust and greenhouse gases, and contributes to the creation of ICT convergence additional services.

What are the participation criteria for DR?

Electricity consumption businesses that can reduce a certain amount of electricity that has been pre-contracted with the demand management operator (ManageON) in response to a reduction request from the power exchange can participate in the demand management business. Depending on the type of electricity consumption verification, they can participate as standard DR (large electricity consumption businesses) or small and medium-sized DR (small and medium-sized businesses).

Settlement

Annual compensation ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 KRWper 1 kW of registered power capacity, depending on your annual participation rate.

Example) KRW 30,000,000 ~ KRW 50,000,000 annual settlement payment for 1,000 kW registration
